Listing policy
We build provider records from public sources before asking permission, because a directory that only lists companies who opted in cannot show buyers the market. That puts two obligations on us: publish only what we can verify and attribute, and remove anyone who asks without argument. Both are described in full below.
Removing or correcting a listing
Email info@ubusunaworks.jp
From your company domain, tell us the provider name and whether you want it corrected or removed entirely. We do not ask why, we do not require an account, and we do not treat paying customers differently. Removed companies are recorded so they are not picked up again when we refresh our data.
What we publish, and what we refuse to
Facts with a named source
Every field shows where it came from and when we last checked. If we cannot attribute it, we do not publish it.
Never a judgement
No star ratings, no quality scores, no "best" badges. Ordering is a published formula based on verified data, not opinion.
Gaps stated as gaps
An unverified field reads "Not disclosed" — not "does not offer". We are not claiming a provider lacks something; we are saying we could not confirm it.
Companies, not people
We publish organisation-level information only. No individual names, personal email addresses, or personal social accounts.
No logos without permission
We refer to companies by name in text. Logos appear only if a provider claims their listing and uploads one.
Split, never filtered
On metro pages we separate providers run from that metro from firms that operate an office there among several. Both are listed in full. The input is what a company publishes about its own offices — never a judgement about size or quality.
Only providers we can describe fairly
A record is published only once we know what a provider does, who it serves, and where it operates — plus enough besides to make 5 of 8 verified fields. 25 records are currently held back for that reason.
Sources we use
The test we apply is a single question: is this information published so that buyers can find the company? If yes, we use it. If it sits behind a login, a paywall, or terms that prohibit collection, we do not.
| Source | Why it qualifies |
|---|---|
| The provider's own website | 発見されるために公開されている。
| CompTIA Trustmark directory |
| Microsoft Solutions Partner directory |
| Cisco Partner Locator |
| Channel Futures MSP 501 list |
| State business registration records |
| Rate card published by the provider |
| Supplied by the provider | claim
When collecting from a provider's own website we respect robots.txt, keep requests to no more than one per second, and identify ourselves in the user agent. We extract facts; we do not republish pages.
Sources we refuse to use
Listed explicitly so the boundary is checkable rather than implied. Our build fails if data from any of these appears in our records.
| Source | Why not |
|---|---|
| Apollo |
Several of these are directories that compete with us. Copying a rival's compiled listings would be poor practice regardless of what their terms said.
Questions about listings
Why are you listing my company without asking?
Because a comparison site that only lists companies who opted in is not a comparison — it is an advertisement. Buyers need to see the market, including providers who have never heard of us. This is standard practice for B2B directories, but it does put the burden on us to be accurate and to remove anyone who asks. Both of those we take seriously.
How do I get removed?
Email info@ubusunaworks.jp from your company domain and say so. We do not ask why, we do not try to talk you out of it, and we do not require an account. We also keep a record so the company is not picked up again the next time we refresh our data.
Something in my listing is wrong. Do I have to claim it to fix it?
No. Email us and we will correct it. Accuracy is in our interest as much as yours — an inaccurate comparison is worthless to buyers. Claiming the listing is only useful if you want ongoing control over the fields you supply.
Where does the data come from?
Public sources only, listed in full below. We do not use LinkedIn, Clutch, UpCity, G2, or any source whose terms prohibit collection or that requires a login. Every field on every profile names the source it came from and the date we last checked it.
Why does my profile say "Not disclosed" in places?
Because we could not verify that field from a public source. It does not mean you lack the capability — only that we could not confirm it. We publish the gap honestly rather than estimating, and you can fill it in by claiming the listing.
Why is my company in the second table instead of the main one?
One of two reasons. Either your own site names a head office in another metro, or it does not name a head office at all and lists offices in several metros — in which case we cannot confirm this one is home, so we do not claim it is. Nothing else feeds the split: not size, not revenue, not our opinion of you. Both tables are complete and ordered by the same published formula. We separate them because a national firm and a locally based provider are different purchases, and one ranking hides that from buyers. If we have it wrong, say where you are based and we will move you — a line on your own site is all the evidence we need.
Do you publish reviews or ratings of providers?
No. We publish specifications with sources attached, and we order listings by how much of a record we have verified. We do not publish a quality score, because we could not defend the arithmetic behind one.
